Charters and your captain, Jim Christensen. Captain Jim makes it his mission to
provide an everlasting memory of a great inshore fishing experience in and
about the Islands of Norwalk CT and Long Island Sound.
Captain Jim has been fishing the waters of Western Long Island Sound for over 45 years. He is a certified U.S. Coast Guard Captain, fully insured, and specializes in both mid-sound and near-shore/skinny water fishing. ( See Trips).
The boat that Captain Jim will take you on is a 22 foot, 2007 Sea Hunt center console equipped with a 150 Four Stroke Yamaha, a large live bait well, state of the art electronics, spreader lights both bow and stern, and a forward bow casting platform. There is plenty of sitting room and a tee top for comfort. The Sea Hunt is a safe and comfortable choice for trips to mid-sound, yet well suited for the shallow depths of the back bays and five miles of island shoreline.
Captain Jim uses only the finest tackle and will match the tackle, lures and bait to the type of fishing experience you want to enjoy. Whether you're an experienced fisherman or want a family adventure, you'll feel welcome and have a great time!
Don't want to fish? Enjoy an evening cruise along the islands where you'll see the local wildlife and Norwalk's unique lighthouses. I can drop your party off for dinner at a nearby restaurant in our bordering harbors and you'll enjoy the return trip under the stars.
